Nara Smith and her husband, Lucky Blue Smith, are expecting their fourth child together.
In an Instagram video shared to both of their accounts, the couple showed off Nara’s baby bump while enjoying a tender outdoor moment together.
“Our little surprise,” they wrote in the caption, with the video featuring the words “Baby 4 Loading…” overlayed on the screen and soundtracked by “Where Roses Bloom (Voice Memo Clip)” by Tessa.
The news comes less than a year after the pair said they weren’t planning on having more children. In an interview with GQ published in August 2024, Nara explained that they felt their family was complete.
“After Whimsy, we are absolutely done now,” Nara said at the time. “Having toddlers is the best sort of birth control, because they’re wild.”
Lucky added, “We feel like we couldn’t be as good of parents if we added in any more.”
Nara and Lucky, 27, got married in February 2020 and have since welcomed three children together. Their first, Rumble Honey, was born later that year, followed by Slim Easy in 2022 and Whimsy Lou in 2024. Lucky also has an older daughter, Gravity, from a previous relationship with model Stormi Bree.
Known for her popular from-scratch cooking videos on TikTok, Nara rose to internet fame by recreating traditional meals and treats in her signature calm, ASMR-style clips.
During her last pregnancy, some critics labeled her a “tradwife”—a term often used to describe women who lean into traditional gender roles.
Nara addressed the label in an interview with Who What Wear, clarifying that it doesn’t reflect how she lives or how she and Lucky parent.
“I’m a working mom. I take care of kids. I split the responsibility with Lucky. Our household is very 50/50,” she told the outlet. “We try to figure out the kids while both of us work. It’s very much this jigsaw puzzle that we’re trying to work through every single day. Being labeled as [a tradwife], that just didn’t fit.”
Smith concluded, “I didn’t want this narrative out there that I’m just at home slaving away. I’m not a tradwife. I’m a working mom, and I love cooking, and I have a passion for cooking for my husband, for my kids. Cooking is my love language. I love taking care of people in that way.”
