Kimora Lee Simmons is celebrating a major milestone for her son Kenzo, who just turned 16.
The fashion mogul and reality TV star took to Instagram with a message for her teen, whom she shares with actor Djimon Hounsou.
“Happy birthday to my 6’7” baby @kenzoklh,” Kimora wrote on Sunday. “I’m so proud of you for the young man that you’re becoming! An amazing brother, son, friend, teammate and so much more! Mama loves you sooooo much!! Keep rising to the top! I’m right by your side every step of the way!”
Kenzo, who has made headlines over the years for his impressive height and basketball skills, was already dunking at 13. In a video shared to her Instagram Stories last year, Kimora proudly posted a clip of him mid-dunk, writing, “My big ole @kenzoklh is 6’7, 14 yrs old! He was dunking at 13. Now he’s windmilling! Wow! I’m so proud of you my boy! Keep it up!”
On his 15th birthday in 2023, the proud mom called him “kind, sweet, humble, handsome and smart,” and encouraged him to “keep up the great work.”
Kimora shares Kenzo with Hounsou and is mom to five children in total. She has daughters Ming, 25, and Aoki, 22, with ex-husband Russell Simmons, son Wolfe, 10, with ex Tim Leissner, and son Gary, 15, whom she adopted at age 10.
The busy mom of five is set to return to television with her new reality series, Kimora: Back in the Fab Lane, premiering in December 2025 on E!. The show follows Kimora as she navigates life as a single mom while leading her fashion empire, Baby Phat.
More than a decade after Life in the Fab Lane gave fans a glimpse into her world, the new series promises an inside look at everything from boardroom meetings to basketball practices with Kenzo and his siblings along for the ride.
