Love Is Blind alums Amber Desiree “AD” Smith and Ollie Sutherland are expecting their first baby together.
The couple announced the news via an Instagram post on May 25 with a video that showed them walking hand-in-hand through a field as Monica’s “Angel of Mine” played in the background.
Ollie is seen cradling AD’s baby bump, followed by clips of the pair holding ultrasound images and exchanging a kiss.
“How you changed my world,” AD wrote in the caption. “You’ll never know.”
The pregnancy reveal is the latest milestone in their whirlwind love story, which began last September when they met while filming Netflix’s Perfect Match. Both had previously appeared on different seasons of Love Is Blind (AD in the U.S. version and Ollie in the U.K.) where they each got engaged in the pods but ended those relationships before finding their way to each other.
In October, fans started buzzing about a possible romance when the two enjoyed a dinner date in Mexico. Still, the couple waited until March to confirm their relationship publicly during the Love Is Blind season eight reunion.
During the special, Ollie opened up about how their bond formed naturally over shared values and honest conversations.
“I think even as early on as when we were on Perfect Match, I noticed that we were having the deeper conversations, the more important conversations,” he shared. “Talking about shared values and similar outlooks on life.”
The reunion episode also featured a surprise proposal from Ollie, who got down on one knee on the beach and asked AD to marry him.
“You’re my best friend,” Ollie said during a viral clip. “You’re the love of my life. I’ve never felt as happy or as complete as I have since I met you. And nothing would make me happier than to spend the rest of my life loving you.”
AD, clearly moved, nodded “Yes” through tears before embracing her new fiancé.
