Cassie Ventura has given birth to her third child with husband Alex Fine, a source confirmed to NBC News.
The couple’s newest addition arrived Tuesday, just two weeks after Ventura took the stand in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal sex trafficking trial.
Ventura first shared news of her pregnancy in March through an Instagram post honoring Alex on his 32nd birthday.
In the post, she revealed they were expecting a baby boy and praised Fine for being a devoted partner and father to their daughters, Frankie and Sunny.
“There aren’t words to describe how grateful I am that I get to do this life with you! The laughter and pure joy that I get to experience with you is beyond any of my dreams and manifestations,” she wrote. “You’ve taken care of me and my heart like no other, you’re hands down the best girl dad and I’m SO excited to see you now become a father to OUR SON!.”
She continued, “So happy to have you home again!!! The girls and I (and French Fry) absolutely adore you and have missed you so much. These past few months were hard without you here, but we are so proud and can’t wait to see you shine. Happy (belated) Birthday!! We love you, we love you, we love you!!!”
Ventura appeared in court earlier this month as a witness for the prosecution. Over the course of nearly a week, she testified about alleged abuse she says she experienced during her relationship with Combs.
Her 2023 civil lawsuit against the music producer drew national attention and sparked a wave of similar allegations from others.
That lawsuit was settled a day after it was filed, with Ventura revealing in court that the settlement amount was $20 million. Combs has denied all allegations.
