The 44-year-old told Vogue’s red carpet livestream host, Emma Chamberlain, in an interview exactly what her eldest daughter, 11-year-old, North West, thought of her 2025 Met Gala look.

“She’s a big critic, but it’s pretty good, you know, her critiquing,” Kardashian explained. “She’s also in a really positive place right now, where it’s just like, ‘Hey, even if that’s not my style, I’m not going to critique that because just be you, and if you like that, then that’s what you should be into.’”

Kardashian added. “I love that energy, and so she was such a positive force tonight; it was great.”

The SKIMS founder shared that her daughter is going a little easier on her these days, especially after being pretty blunt about her 2023 Met Gala look. If you remember, Kardashian wore pearl a Schiaparelli gown which North was not a fan of at all.

The reality star also shared how much she enjoys bringing North along for the annual fashion tradition. Preparing for the Met has become a mini family reunion for the Kardashian sisters and their kids.

“Every time I come to the Met, I love bringing my oldest daughter with me,” Kardashian said, noting that she had a “chill day” getting ready.  “Just to see me get ready, and all her aunties are in the hotel, and we’re all getting ready together, so it’s just a fun few days.”

This year, Kim, Kylie, and Kourtney were the only sisters to walk the carpet. Khloé skipped the event but revealed she was nearby, babysitting and cheering on her sisters from the couch.
