Kylie Jenner’s daughter, Stormi, took the lead in a sweet social experiment in a new Instagram reel, putting her little brother Aire to the test with the viral “candy challenge” for some Easter fun. In the reel, Stormi, 7, stands in front of her brother with the bowl of candy and tells him that, “…You can have these gummy worms but when I go to the bathroom with me, mommy and [aunt] Kim [Kardashian] … [we’re] going to the bathroom and when we come back you can have all of them, ok?”

To which Aire, 2, replies, “Yes.”

Stormi continues adding, “Don’t eat them.” Then you see Stormi disappear from in frame to hear her say behind the camera, “But you have to wait.”

Aire responds, “Uh-huh.”

If you remember, Jenner tried the same “candy challenge” with Stormi when she was two-years-old. Not surprisingly, a two-year-old Stormi was able to hold out and wait on her mother’s return, also reaping the benefits of being patient with three chocolates.

If you aren’t sure exactly what the candy challenge is, it is a viral trend, especially popular on platforms like TikTok and Instagram based on the famous “Marshmallow Test” conducted in the 1970s by psychologist Walter Mischel at Stanford University.

Parents place candy or a treat in front of a young child and tell them not to eat it until they return. The challenge is meant to test the child’s patience and self-control. A hidden camera captures the children’s reactions while they wait—or not!

The 27-year-old entrepreneur was so proud of both children for their self-control, she made sure to let everyone know in her reel caption, “full circle moment!!!! both my babies are patient.” Jenner shares her two children with rapper, Travis Scott.
