For months, New York Giants quarterback Russell Wilson has been playfully campaigning on social media to convince his wife, Ciara, that it’s time to welcome baby number five into their growing family. Well, the “Defy Gravity,” singer is finally reacting to the campaign, calling her husband out.
The 39-year-old recently sat down with Access Hollywood to talk about both career and family. During her interview, the mother-of-four shared her thoughts on welcoming her fifth baby with her husband, saying that, “he needs to stop.
“Let me tell you, someone needs to take my husband’s phone right now, okay. Because he needs to stop,” she said in the interview with the outlet’s Zuri Hall. “Listen, Amora came out and he start talking about ‘Cinco?’ I’m like, ‘That’s just disrespectful. Do you know what I just went through right now with this?’”
She continued, “No, but he is so funny. He’s got a great campaign going, I’m not gonna lie. Hall added to the conversation the growing support that her Wilson is amassing for “Cinco.”
Ciara responded, saying, “Yeah, the people are following Rus. They all team Rus, like wait y’all not gone have like a little love and sympathy for my ovaries over here [and] for my uterus?”
The couple already sharing parenting duties of four children together: daughter Sienna, 7, son Win, 4, and their youngest, Amora, who is almost 1. Ciara also has a 10-year-old son, Future Zahir, from her previous relationship with rapper ex, Future.
Outside of social media, Wilson has also taken his plea for baby-number-five to the airwaves. On a past episode of the Not Just Football podcast, the athlete joked, “I always say sports and music are the two most entertaining things in the world and we get to live it every day together and just to have kids. We have four beautiful children. I’m trying to get her to have a fifth…”

Will we get there be a “cinco” added to the Wilson family? Only time will tell.
