Actresses Tia Mowry and Gabrielle Union, along with sports agent Nicole Lynn, recently came together for the ultimate mom-and-kid spring break getaway in sunny San Diego.
Mowry took to Instagram yesterday to share glimpses of trip, posting a series of snaps with the caption, “Our spring break getaway was exactly what I needed!” she wrote. “I had the best time in San Diego spending quality time with @gabunion @ms_nix and our beautiful blended family.”
She continued, “It’s such a gift to blend families with people you love, not just for us, but for our kids too. Watching Cairo, Kaavia, and Crosby’s sweet friendship grow and seeing them make memories together just melts my heart. It was simple, but so special. I truly cherish every moment.”
In several shot, Mowry’s daughter Ciro, Union’s internet-favorite Kaavia James, and Lynn’s son Crosby Sparrow could be seen enjoying pool time, beachside hangs, and even pajama parties.
One standout shot showed Cairo and Kaavia snuggled up in bed rocking matching bonnets—pure cuteness overload.
The moms also made sure to squeeze in some fun time of their own. In one video, Union and Mowry could be seen whipping up blood orange cocktails.The debate? How much tequila is too much tequila.
For those who may not know, Tia and Gabrielle go way back—Gab played the recurring role of Vanessa on Sister, Sister back in the day. Their friendship has stood the test of time, has extended to their children, too.
In a 2021 interview, Mowry told Us Weekly that watching their daughters bond is something truly special. “Gab and I always say seeing them together brings us so much joy,” she said at the time. “And the joy that I’m talking about is this beautiful Black girl magic. [Their friendship] is about inspiring and it’s about building at such a young age.”
And when the kids are off doing their thing? “Girl, we drink wine!” Tia laughed. “We just sit back, we drink wine, we talk about motherhood, we talk about life.”
