Evelyn Lozada and Carl Crawford came together over the weekend to celebrate their son, Carl “Leo” Crawford Jr.’s 11th birthday. The former couple marked the occasion with a fun-filled day at Disneyland.
Sharing a family photo on Instagram, the parents asked, “Ok let’s settle it once and for all. We just celebrated Leo’s B Day and we need to know who’s winning the gene battle. Comment E or C below . #Coparenting #familytime #jokes.”
Leo also took to Instagram to express his gratitude for his unforgettable birthday weekend.
He captioned a video from the day, saying, “Big thank you to my parents for making my birthday so special! I played a baseball game in the morning, then went to Palm Springs for a sleepover with my boys, and from there we hit Disneyland and spent the whole day having fun with more of my friends! Best 11th birthday ever! Thank you [The Game] for the hoodie.”
Lozada and Crawford have successfully built a strong co-parenting relationship.
In a past interview with Us Weekly, Lozada explained, “We just make it work. We don’t have any drama. It’s damn near perfect to be honest. I value that because I think for Leo, to see me and his dad have a great relationship and I can go to dinner with him and Leo, it’s just us sharing time and space with him. I think it’s beneficial for him.”
She added, “I think sometimes people don’t understand my relationship with him. They may think something’s going on, but we are just generally good friends. … It’s really about just having a healthy coparenting relationship.”
In addition to Leo, Evelyn is also mom to Shaniece Hairston, who recently welcomed a baby boy with rapper The Game.
In December, Lozada introduced her grandson to her fans, captioning a photo: “This little blue-eyed angel made me a grandma, and I’m forever grateful! You’ve brought so much joy into my life that words can’t even explain. I love you more than anything, Blaze Taylor! #GrandmaLove #ForeverGrateful #BlazeTaylor.”
