Jodie Turner-Smith shares rare photos and videos of her and her daughter, 4-year-old, Juno.
The 38-year-old actress posted a carousel of photos and videos, on social media, captioning the post, “life round here,” followed by a weepy-eyed emoji.
In the post, Turner-Smith shows herself and her toddler spending mother-daughter time together. One video showcases the toddler swimming in a pool, then there is a photo of Juno showing off a red dress with black rim as she walks down the hallway, another features the mother-daughter duo wearing matching bathrobes.
And, there is even a slime video of the the duo.
Turner-Smith shares her daughter with ex-husband, actor, Joshua Jackson. In October of last year, as a part of her Glamour Woman of the Year cover story, Turner-Smith opened up about co-parenting with her ex.
“It’s an adjustment period for anyone when they split up with someone because you’re used to being with your child all the time,” she shared in her Glamour Woman of the Year cover story.
“But nobody hands you a manual. Everyone’s trying to figure it out. Each parent has a different life, and especially if the reason why you’re splitting up is because you have different lives, it’s only further complicated by how you’re going to coparent.”
Turner-Smith filed for divorce in October of 2023 from Jackson, citing irreconcilable differences. At the time, Jackson, according to Turner-Smith, allegedly agreed to support her financially with spousal support in addition to paying child support.
Most recently the model has stated that Jackson is reneging on his promise to financially support her and their daughter. She recalls that Jackson reassured her that she wouldn’t need to worry about financial security because he understood the challenges of being a Black woman and a single mother.
“[He] promised to always support me and ensured me that I would not have to worry about financial security for our daughter if we ever separated because he said he understood how difficult life can be as a Black woman and a single mother.”
As of yet, Jackson still not commented on these recent allegations from Turner-Smith. Their divorce has yet to be finalized.
