North West is seems to be expanding her musical collaborations! Recently, it was revealed that the 11-year-old daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West is rapping in Japanese on FKA twigs’ new track, “Childlike Things.”
Kim Kardashian shared the news in her Instagram stories, writing over a screen grab from Apple Music of the song, “@fkatwigs ft NORTH out now!”
However, this isn’t the first time that the North showed off her blooming bilingual skills. The talented young Renaissance prodigy also rapped in Japanese on her father’s song “Bomb” from West’s Vultures 2 album, which was released in August 2024.
Recently, Kanye West took to social media to share a touching nod to his eldest daughter, crediting her for making him “love music again.”
“This little girl made me love music again,” he captioned a black and white photo of his daughter. “She asked me to make beats for her I got back on the ASR Chopped up beats for her album and chopped every beats with my bare hand for BULLY.”
The rapper producer shared a second black and white post of his daughter, this time a video of North playing on a keyboard while he encouraged another musician in the studio to “play it”. The clip was simply captioned “Training.”
In addition to her budding music career, North is also a talented artist and phenomenal make-up artist. We cannot wait to see what the future holds for her. With as much talent as she is displaying right now at 11, the future seems like it will be filled with incredibly amazing displays of creativity for years to come.
West and The Kardashians reality star also share three other children: sons Saint, 9, and Psalm, 5, and daughter Chicago, 7.
