Jhené Aiko has revealed that the Palisades house she shares with her kids has been destroyed in the devastating wildfires sweeping across Los Angeles County.
The Grammy-nominated R&B singer took to social media to express her grief, saying, “Me and my children’s home is gone… burned to the ground with all of our things inside. Lord have mercy. Thankful we still have each other…starting from scratch. My heart is so heavy.”

Aiko also expressed her prayers for others affected by the disaster, adding, “Praying for everyone this morning. Those who lost their home. Those who lost their life’s work, those who lost their life. Praying for my city. Praying for the wildlife and lost pets. Praying for the world—let suffering be a gift; a lesson in compassion.”
The devastating wildfires have claimed more than 28,000 acres, burning through multiple neighborhoods in Los Angeles County, including Pacific Palisades, where Aiko’s home once stood.
Over 2,000 structures have been destroyed, and tragically, five lives have been lost. At least 130,000 residents are currently under evacuation orders, as the fire continues to rage across the region.
Since 2023, R&B singer Jhene Aiko has resided in a $5.6 million Palisades neighborhood home with her boyfriend, rapper Big Sean. The couple share a son, Noah Hasani, whom they welcomed in 2022. Jhené Aiko is also mom to a 16-year-old daughter, Namiko Love, with ex O’Ryan.
For Aiko, motherhood is the central driving force in Aiko’s life, as she shared in a 2017 interview with CR Fashion Book.
“My family are the driving force behind everything that I do,” she told the outlet. “I would describe myself as a mother, lover, writer and singer, but always a mother first.”
