Jackson, who shares her son with ex-husband, Wissam Al Mana, opened up in a 2024 interview with The Guardian, about her transformative journey into motherhood, sharing the personal reasons behind her decision not to have more children.

“The most important thing I’ve done, the biggest thing I’ve done, is become a mother, and it’s had a beautiful impact on my life,” she says. “I wanted to have three children, but thought, ‘I should stop there, that’s probably all I can handle.’ Because you have to give all of yourself, you have to spread the love, and I wouldn’t want any of them to feel left out if I had three. Obviously, you have to work, but you don’t come first any more. Your life completely changes. And I wouldn’t trade it for anything.”

Jackson, the youngest of the ten famous Jackson siblings, has been in the limelight for decades as an entertainer. However, the Good Times alum has said that her son will have to wait ten more years before he can join the entertainment industry.

“If that’s what he wants, but I would say that he has to wait until he’s of age and still make sure that’s what he wants to do,” she said in a previous interview with Loose Women. “Whatever you do is very difficult. The industry is very tough, but he would have to wait until he is 18.”

Jackson celebrates her son Eissa’s special day, her endearing message serves as a beautiful reminder of the deep bond between mother and child. While she often keeps her personal life private, moments like these offer a rare and touching glimpse into her world. As Eissa grows, it’s clear that Jackson’s love and devotion to her son will continue to shine through, marking each milestone with the same warmth and affection she’s shared with fans throughout her legendary career.
