Madonna recently celebrated both Christmas and Hanukkah with four of her children, sharing the holiday moments on social media.
The Queen of Pop shared a compilation video reel of the special moments on social media, captioning the video, “The most wonderful time of the year ………..X-mas and Hanukkah all at once,” followed by four emoji’s: a Christmas tree, a Menorah, a gift box, and a red heart.
In the video, we see the “Papa Don’t Preach” singer with her four girls: Lourdes Leon, 28, Chifundo “Mercy” James, 18, and 12-year-old twins Stella and Estere. In addition to her four girls, Madonna is also mother to two sons, Rocco Ritchie, 24, and David Banda, 19.
Additionally, the 66-year-old also featured festive snaps of her boyfriend, 28-year-old Jamaican-born soccer player Akeem Morris.
The uplifting holiday video was befittingly set to Andy Williams’ Christmas classic “It’s The Most Wonderful Time of the Year.”
Madonna has shared many special moments this holiday season featuring her family. During the Thanksgiving holiday, she shared a carousel of images featuring all of her children and her father, Silvio Ciccone.
The mother-of-six, shared a touching caption on the post, reminding everyone that “family” sometimes supersedes blood relation.
“We are born into families and we create our own,” she began her caption.
“As time goes by I am more and more appreciative of these microcosms of life that Dance around me and teach me lessons every day. My Family has experienced many losses this year. My father has endured with Dignity. Watching him cry in the cemetery when we buried my brother Christopher -right after he lost his wife. Was a moment I will never forget. Spending time with him and all my children on Thanksgiving was Medicine for the Soul.”
Although Madonna has not officially converted to Judaism, she has practiced many Jewish rituals and has studied Kabbalah for many years. The singer’s twin daughters have even celebrated their Bat Mitzvah’s, a Jewish coming-of-age ceremony for girls that marks their transition into adulthood.
