Cori Broadus, the 25-year-old daughter of Snoop Dogg and Shante Broadus, is gearing up for a new chapter in her life—motherhood! The singer and reality star revealed to E Online! that she and her fiancé, Wayne Deuce, are expecting their first child together: a baby girl.
“I found out on Oct. 28,” Cori shared, calling the pregnancy “unplanned” but such a blessing. Currently four months along, she assured fans that she’s feeling great, despite the challenges of being a high-risk pregnancy.
Diagnosed with lupus at age six, Cori reflected on the initial concerns surrounding her pregnancy. “I’m a high-risk pregnancy and doctors were very concerned for me and the baby but God has his hands on me, and me and the baby are doing perfectly fine. I’m having a girl.”
The Broadus family is over the moon about the news. She said that her mom and dad “were so excited their baby girl is having a baby.”
She added that her father, Snoop, was secretly hoping for a grandson. With this little girl on the way, she’ll be the rapper’s eighth grandchild.
For Cori and Wayne, the surprise of becoming parents has only deepened their bond. “I’m just excited to love on my baby girl and make her feel like she’s the prettiest in the world,” she told the outlet. “Growing up, I wasn’t the most confident and never felt like I fit in, so just to instill all the beautiful things in her head at a young age. And I’m having a mini me.”
Wayne is equally thrilled, sharing his excitement about having someone who resembles Cori. “Wayne said he’s excited to have someone that looks like me. He knows she is going to be so beautiful and he just can’t wait to build things for her and give her all the love in the world.”
Taking to Instagram Stories, Cori gave fans a glimpse of her pregnancy journey, sharing a picture of her positive test, her growing baby bump, and even a video from a recent sonogram. “Cat’s out of the bag! I thank God everyday for this blessing fr,” she wrote.
