Usher and Tameka Foster’s son, Naviyd Ely Raymond, had an unforgettable 16th birthday on Tuesday, December 10, 2024.
The teen marked the milestone surrounded by loved ones during a special night at his father’s concert at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena.

Naviyd’s birthday kicked off when family and friends gathered to sing him a rendition of “Happy Birthday.” Naviyd grinned ear to ear as he blew out the candles on a custom two-tiered cake.
The celebration continued onstage as Naviyd joined Usher during his performance, showing off his dance moves in front of an electrified crowd. A video shared on Usher’s Instagram stories captured the sweet father-son moment, with fans cheering on the duo.
The highlight of the night came when Naviyd stepped outside to discover a brand-new black Range Rover waiting for him, complete with a bright red bow. True to his bold personality, Naviyd wasted no time jumping into the driver’s seat for a quick spin, leaving his parents laughing and calling out after him.

With over 50,000 TikTok followers, Naviyd is already carving out his own path in the entertainment world. Known for his hilarious skits and dance moves, Naviyd has a natural flair for the spotlight. And, as his dad has hinted, there’s more talent where that came from—Naviyd can sing, too, following in Usher’s legendary footsteps.
Born on December 10, 2008, Naviyd is Usher and Tameka Foster’s second son. While his older brother, Usher V, leans toward sports, Naviyd has a deep love for entertainment. In a 2022 interview with Tamron Hall, Usher revealed that second-born son not only watches all of his shows but critiques them as well.

“He’s like, ‘You missed this thing. You didn’t do this thing,’” Usher shared. “And I’m like, ‘Yeah, that’s the point. It’s not supposed to be the same every night.’”
Usher, a proud father of four, shares sons Usher “Cinco” V and Naviyd Ely with Tameka Foster, and daughter Sovereign Bo and son Sire Castrello with his wife, Jenn Goicoechea. During his 2024 BET Lifetime Achievement Award acceptance speech, Usher credited his children as his greatest motivation.
“It’s all about y’all. It is 100 percent all about my children and making certain that you understand that your dreams can come true if you are truly committed to it.”
