The Curry family had plenty to be thankful for this Thanksgiving, with baby Caius celebrating his very first holiday season!
On Thursday, Steph Curry gave fans a glimpse into their festive day, sharing photos on Instagram.
“Happy day to give thanks from the Currys,” he captioned the series of snaps.
The pictures showed Steph, his wife Ayesha Curry, and their four kids: Riley, 12, Ryan, 9, Canon, 6, and baby Caius, who is now 6 months old.
Ayesha also reposted the photos to her Instagram Stories, writing, “Grateful, grateful, grateful,”
Ever the jokester, she added, “Still trying to figure out how I’ve managed to have 4 kids at my ripe young age of 24.”
For Ayesha, having Caius be part of their holiday traditions for the first time has been nothing short of magical.
“Hanging his stocking up will be really exciting,” Curry recently told Parents. “Doing that and reflecting on, gosh, the past six months—he’s 6 months old. That’s going to be a very nostalgic core memory with the kids this year.”
When it comes to holiday decor, the Currys waste no time getting into the festive spirit.
“We’re like a day after Thanksgiving type of family—we get right to it,” said Curry. “We feel like the season couldn’t be long enough. I love everything about it.”
Ayesha is all about making meaningful memories with her kids, focusing on the moments rather than the details.
“Through the years, I’ve learned that they’re not going to remember the nitty-gritty details,” said Ayesha. “I try to make the small moments, core memories for them.”
Decorating is a big part of their tradition. “It’s just the mere act of putting up the decorations, hanging the stockings, that’s what they’ll remember; they don’t even remember what was in the stockings,” Curry added. “That’s a big thing that I’ve noticed. So don’t stress about that stuff. It’s just creating those nostalgic memories, not the stuff that comes around it.”
