Known for his larger-than-life personality and even bigger family, Nick Cannon’s Thanksgiving plans are anything but ordinary. As he juggles time with his kid, the TV host and entrepreneur is sure to make this holiday a memorable one. Here’s a peek at how Nick Cannon will balance family, fun, and festivities on Turkey Day.
The Wild ‘N Out host spoke exclusively with People Magazine at the L.A. Mission Thanksgiving charity event in downtown L.A., sharing insight into celebrating the holiday with his kids.
“It’s very complicated. I’m a busy man on Thanksgiving,” the 44-year-old told he outlet. He also noted that he has “a bunch of dinners” that he has “got to go to.”
“I’m going to be full by the end of the day, but everybody specializes in certain things,” he said, adding that “some people got good sweet potato pie, some people got amazing fried turkey.”
“So I know every house that needs to have the things that I really like,” The Masked Singer host concluded.
Cannon joined several additional celebrity volunteers at the event in order to serve over 4,000 meals completely free of charge to those in need. Additionally, volunteers provided over 2,000 clothing items, and give free haircuts, manicures, and pedicures to attendees. Cannon told the outlet that he continues to volunteer with the organization because his grandmother taught him that, “to whom much is given, much is required.”
“The best part about any holiday is to be able to be of service. And that’s what I feel like life is really about,” Cannon said. “When you can get to a space where you have more fun being of service and doing for others, I think that’s when you reach the zenith of what life is all about.”
Cannon’s children include: Moroccan and Monroe with ex-wife, Mariah Carey. Sons Golden Sagon and Rise Messiah Cannon and daughter Powerful Queen whom he shares with Brittany Bell; twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir and daughter Beautiful Zeppelin with Abby De La Rosa; son Legendary Love with Bre Tiesi; and daughter Onyx Ice Cole with LaNisha Cole.
Cannon also father two children with Alyssa Scott — son Zen, who died at five-months-old in December 2021 from brain cancer, and daughter Halo Marie Cannon, who was born in December of 2022.
