Sean “Diddy” Combs’ kids found a special way to bring some joy to his day as he celebrates his 55th birthday behind bars today (November 4th).
The music mogul received a bittersweet phone call from all of his seven kids—Quincy, Justin, Christian “King,” Chance, twins D’Lila and Jessie, and Love Sean—, who gathered around a cake to sing “Happy Birthday”.
In a sweet video shared on Instagram, Diddy’s youngest, Love Sean Combs, led the song, with each sibling chiming in from around the cake.
When the song ended, little Love blew out the candle, and Diddy, sounding deeply grateful, thanked his kids for the call.
“I love y’all so much. I can’t wait to see y’all. I am proud of y’all, especially the girls. I mean all of y’all for being strong. Thank y’all for being strong. Thank y’all for being by my side and supporting me. I love y’all. I got the best family in the world. [It’s] my birthday, I’m happy. Thanks y’all for giving me this call. Thank you very much. I love y’all.”
His children responded warmly, saying, “We love you” in unison.
Justin added, “Can’t wait to see you in a couple of days,” while little Love enthusiastically yelled, “I love you, daddy!”
The birthday comes just weeks after Diddy’s children shared a public message of solidarity, acknowledging the difficult period they have faced since his September arrest.
In a statement, they wrote, “The past month has devastated our family. Many have judged both him and us based on accusations, conspiracy theories, and false narratives that have spiraled into absurdity on social media. We stand united, supporting you every step of the way. We hold onto the truth, knowing it will prevail, and nothing will break the strength of our family. WE MISS YOU & LOVE YOU DAD.”
Diddy, who has pleaded not guilty to all charges, is currently awaiting his trial, set to begin on May 5, 2025.
