When it comes to being on the road and in front of people, there is not better person that Ice T to give advice to her eight-year-old daughter, Chanel. Recently, the 66-year-old father shared his “parenting technique” to ensure that his daughter has “zero stage fright.”
So, what’s the parenting hack? Well, it appears that the seasoned rapper and entertainer shares the stage with his adorable youngest child and just let’s her go for it!
Recently, he posted an Image on Instagram showing he and Chanel onstage during one of the stops on tour. The mic is up to Chanel’s face and she is unquestionably enjoying her time in the spotlight.
“Yes, my parenting technique is probably different than most.. But @babychanelnicole has Zero stage fright,” Ice T captions the image.
He concludes by adding, “And is on her second passport. #TourLife.”
Earlier in the summer, the Law & Order: SUV actor spoke about how life on tour is actually a family affair, telling People.com that his daughter “learned to walk on the tour bus.”
“She learned how to walk on the tour bus,” he said. “It’s those small aisles, and she would touch the sides, and we would send her down the aisle.”
“She’s been coming on stage ever since she was little. She’s looking forward to it. I bring her out during a song called ‘Talk S—, Get Shot.’ I got a gag where I tell the audience. But she comes out. And my other son is out there with us. So yeah, it’s a family thing.”
Ice T shares Chanel Nicole with is wife, Coco Austin. He is also father to two adult grown children: daughter LeTesha Marrow, 48, and son Tracy Marrow Jr., 32.
