Henree Cherron Wright, the daughter of legendary rapper Eazy-E, has shared the first official photos of her newborn son, Hendrix Jru Boone, with the world.
The images, shot by photographer Randi Theresa, recreate an iconic moment of Eazy-E in the studio.
“The moment you guys have been waiting for! Allow me to introduce to you, our Baby Boy! Hendrix Jru Boone,” the proud new mom captioned.
Wright welcomed her baby boy on September 7, a day that holds deep significance in her family as it would have been Eazy-E’s, 60th birthday.
The legendary rapper, who was a founding member of N.W.A., passed away in 1995 at the age of 31, but his legacy continues to live on through his music and now, his grandson.
In an Instagram post on September 8, Henree, who performs under the name ReeMarkable, celebrated the arrival of her son and paid tribute to her late father.
She shared a photo of her newborn son’s hospital bracelet alongside an image of herself as a newborn with Eazy-E. “Happy birthday Daddy! 9/7/24 this for you.”
Henree also revealed that her labor was quick and natural, taking just six pushes. “Baby is here y’all!!! 6 pushes! All natural. I wasn’t gonna post, but this was needed to be said.”
A week later, she posted a birthing video documenting the experience.
She wrote, “7 Days ago I gave birth to my Son. On my fathers birthday. Through all the movie dramatics that happened on September 7th! It was more than perfect ! Surrounded by the people I love. The medical team Ive trusted with my life & God himself .I can’t ever think how I could repay any individual from that night!”
In the same post, Henree used her platform to raise awareness about the importance of representation and care in the medical field. She emphasized how critical it is to have black medical professionals, aoting the stark contrast between her experience with Hendrix and the birth of her first son, Cobe.
“We must start supporting and promoting more black medical professionals, especially women, majority of my team were black women, and without them I don’t know how successful this would have been. My birth with Cobe , was nothing like this , almost a nightmare, and it shouldn’t have been. but I had no representation.”
