In a sneak peek of the show, Tia talks about the challenges of co-parenting, especially when it comes to dropping her kids off at their dad’s house.

“I feel like one of the hardest things that I’ve had to adapt to is dropping my kids off at their dad’s house. I always wanted the family dynamic of having a mom and dad in one household. When you’re dropping your kids off, you can visually see how that is no longer”, she says in the preview.

She also reflects on the loneliness that has come with her new reality.

“Being alone has been the most challenging part of my divorce. Times like this make me feel and wish that my sister and I were still close, so I could pick up the phone and call her. But that’s just not where we are right now.”

Earlier this week, the mom of two appeared on Today with Hoda and Jenna, where spoke about her path to healing and self-discovery.

“The biggest change, the thing that I’ve learned about myself, is taking responsibility for my own pain and suffering,” she said.

“So, you know, therapy, journaling, spending time with myself. Solitude is not punishment,” she continued. “And I’m excited about my new chapter.”

Mowry feels empowered by the personal growth she’s experienced, which has made her a more present and mindful parent.

“I feel like I’ve learned so much and I can’t wait to apply that to my new [potential] relationship, but I’m already doing that,” she admits, adding, “I can see myself being a better mother and just being present with my friendships.”
