If you’re a parent, you know that watching TV with young kids is part of the routine. While shows like CoComelon are a hit with little ones thanks to their bright colors and catchy tunes, they can be a bit overwhelming for adults.
A$AP Rocky recently admitted in an interview with Billboard that watching CoComelon with his kids is driving him “nuts.”
“That s— is driving me nuts!” he jokingly told the music outlet. “Don’t tell my girl I said that. I’m totally joking. I don’t give a s—. She’s tired of it, too, probably.”
The 35-year-old, “Praise the Lord” hitmaker, whose real name is born Rakim Mayers, shares two sons, RZA, 2, and Riot, 1, with multi-hyphenate artist, Rihanna.
CoComelon, the adorable and educational series, was first created by California dad, Jay Jeon.
First launched on YouTube in 2006, the show has become a smash hit with more than 174 million subscribers with a theme song that has been known to induce uncontrollable toddler excitement.
CoComelon has spun off into a variety of spin-offs, including the most recent, CoComelon Lane.
In its second season, CoComelon Lane has geared up to help toddlers, Rihanna, and A$AP Rocky, and many other parents explore feelings and emotions, while understanding and celebrating important milestones.
“Just like the first season, this season is grounded in an expert-developed social-emotional learning curriculum,” Meghan Sheridan, a mom and Lead Creative Executive at Moonbug Entertainment, CoComelon Lane‘s parent company, explains in a recent interview with Parents.com. “Viewers will get to revisit some common emotions addressed in previous episodes, while also introducing new feelings and big life moments.”
CoComelon Lane is currently streaming on Netflix.
