Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson’s daughter, True, has officially started first grade.
On Tuesday, August 27, Khloé and Tristan proudly shared photos of their 6-year-old on her first day of school. True looked adorable in her school uniform as she posed with her mom, dad, little brother Tatum, and even her cat.
Kardashian posted a carousel of images on social media celebrating how proud she is of her daughter, admitting that she is “not ok.”
“First Grade!!! True I am so proud of you!! I know you’re going to have the most incredible year ahead of you! I couldn’t be happier for you my angel. I’m not ok but I’ll pull it together by pick up time.”
The Hulu reality star went on to talk more about her feelings on Snapchat saying that, “It’s always such a rollercoaster of emotions when True starts a new school year. This year is a big milestone for her… first grade. I’m not going to lie, I am having a really hard time processing the fact that she’s going into first grade.”
She continued stating that True’s milestone, for her, comes with “this strange mixture of loss, anxiety and fear.”
“There’s this undeniable feeling that I’m losing parts of who she was with each day that passes. The little parts of who she used to be are being replaced with new parts that will make up the next little amazing person she will become. And I miss her. All the little versions of her who I used to know. Time moves fast, faster every year it feels like, and this new school year is a reminder to me to fully embrace every moment and soak it all in.”
Tristan also shared his excitement on social media, posting pictures with his kids by the balloons. He reflected on how quickly time has passed, writing, “Twinny first day of 1st grade. Time flies, my wow!”
He also took a moment to remember his late mother, Gigi, stating that she must be looking down on True with pride. “I know Gigi’s looking down on you and she is sooo proud of you and how amazing you are and how you’re the best big sister. I love you, Tutu.”
Just a few weeks earlier, Tristan’s son Prince, whom he shares with ex Jordan Craig, had his first day of second grade. On August 15, Craig shared sweet photos on Instagram celebrating his big day with the caption, “First Day of School Shenanigans…SECOND Grade here we come!!!!.”
Tristan is also a dad to 2-year-old Theo, whom he shares with model Maralee Nichols
