Jacquees and Deiondra Sanders have shared the name of their newborn son: Snow Jacquees Sanders-Broadnax.
Jacquees shared the news on Instagram, explaining the significance behind the name. The singer also hinted at new music inspired by his new role as a father.
He wrote, “Yesterday my son Touchdown at the crib & today he’s 2 Weeks old! Thank you Jesus no weapon formed against us shall prosper!! “Snow Jacquees Sanders-Broadnax” in honor of my Grandmother Ms. Dasie Snow Our Prince. We love you So much son me and mama @deiondrasanders and the whole Village.”
He added, “Song called #Touchdown from my new EP coming soon #BabyMaking.”
Jacquees and Deiondra welcomed their son Snow on the same birthday as Deiondra’s father, Deion Sanders.
Deiondra shared news on Instagram on Friday, August 9, posting photos of her and the R&B crooner in the hospital, accompanied by a touching message about her new journey into motherhood.
In her deeply moving Instagram post, she opened up about the significant health challenges she faced during her pregnancy, including fibroids, threatened miscarriages, and various medical interventions. Despite the hardships, Deiondra expressed immense gratitude and relief that her son arrived safely.
“WE MADE IT YALL🥹 Through every challenge—the fibroids, the threatened miscarriages, the shortened cervix, the cerclage, the myomectomies, the wisdom of age (keep it cute lol), placenta accreta and taking my entire uterus, the bed rest, and the prayers to reach 28 weeks—by the grace of God, WE MADE IT.”‘
She continued, “I can’t do anything but praise Him! Thank you, God. Thank you, Jesus. This journey has been long, but seeing your face, my sweet baby boy, made every moment worthwhile….”
Deiondra also shared some birth details, revealing that Baby Que was born at 36 weeks, weighing 6 pounds 13 ounces, and measuring 18 inches long.
“36 weeks | 9:57 am | 6 lbs 13 ounces | 18 inches long, Fun Fact: the same Doctor who delivered Baby Que delivered me,” she concluded.
