Madonna celebrated her 66th birthday in true superstar fashion, surrounded by all six of her children at a lavish bash in Italy. The Queen of Pop marked the occasion on August 19 at the historic Teatro Grande, where she was joined by her close friends and rumored beau, Akeem Morris.
The party included an al fresco dinner with a star-studded guest list, featuring photographer Steve Klein, dancer James Vu Anh Pham, and stylists Luigi Murenu and Iango Henzi, among others.
The seven-time Grammy winner took to Instagram to share moments from the extravagant evening, captioning her post with “La Dolce Vita.”
In one particularly sweet photo, Madonna posed with her children—Lourdes Leon, 27, Rocco Ritchie, 24, David Banda, 18, Mercy James, 18, and twins Stella and Estere, 11— all dressed to the nines in formalwear.
The snapshot marked the first time Madonna had shared a photo with all six of her kids on Instagram since Thanksgiving 2022.
The family celebrations didn’t stop there. In the same post, Madonna revealed that she had hosted a separate party for Rocco, who turned 24 on August 11, just days before her own birthday. The “Like a Prayer” singer took to Instagram to wish her son with Guy Ritchie a “Happy Birthday.”
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY ROCCO— the long and Winding Road through all your many moods and incarnations has been tumultuous and full of surprises. But through it all —your curiosity, and Artistic Soul has been the glue that has held us together. Thank God for Art. Thank God for you. We have been together for many lifetimes. Thank you for choosing me again. I Love you -for Eternity, “she wrote.”
Earlier this year, Madonna made headlines when she brought three of her children on stage during her Madison Square Garden performance in January.
Mercy showcased her piano skills with a rendition of Madonna’s 1992 hit “Bad Girl,” while David joined his mom on guitar during “Mother and Father.” Estere also had her moment in the spotlight, delighting fans with her DJ skills and dance moves during “Vogue.”
