The track, which dropped today, features some very special guests: his wife Chrissy Teigen and their kids, Luna and Miles.

Not only does Luna lend her voice to the album, but the talented 8-year-old also designed the cover art for every single on the album.

In a post on Instagram, Legend shared, “The first single “L-O-V-E,” with backup vocals by @chrissyteigen, Luna, and Miles, from my upcoming album ‘My Favorite Dream,’ is out today! Special thanks to the artist, Miss Luna, for the beautiful artwork.”

He added, “And Luna designed and drew all the single covers for the album too!”

Set to release on August 30, My Favorite Dream is an album of “sing-alongs and lullabies for children and families.” The collection features nine original songs by Legend, alongside three covers of Fisher-Price tunes and three bonus tracks.

The inspiration behind the project comes from Legend’s own experiences, both as a child and now as a father to Luna, Miles, 6, and Esti,18 months, and Wren,13 months.

“My parents loved to sing around the house, making up bedtime songs for us and songs to motivate and inspire us,” Legend reminisced. “And Chrissy and I also love singing to our kids. We make up little jingles and ditties for them all the time. In our home, music is very important to the way we interact and communicate with them.”

To bring his album to life, John enlisted the help of producer Sufjan Stevens. “I’ve loved Sufjan’s music for nearly 20 years. He’s such a visionary artist, and I knew he would create the dreamy, whimsical soundscapes I wanted,” Legend wrote on Instagram.
