Genesis Anthony, the daughter of Carmelo Anthony and Mia Burks, celebrated her 7th birthday on August 1, 2024, in style.

For her special day, she wore a custom outfit that paid tribute to her dad’s illustrious basketball career with the New York Knicks.

Her ensemble was a reconstructed two-piece made from her dad’s game jersey, crafted by Custom by Lamar Inc., as shared by her mom, Mia Burks.

Genesis’ outfit perfectly matched the theme of her Knicks-themed basketball party, which Carmelo attended.

Mia Burks shared photos from the celebration, captioning it, “[8117] a love supreme.today is all about YOU.”

Fans were quick to comment under Mia’s post, noting Genesis’ striking resemblance to her dad. Former basketball player Nate Robinson also chimed in, saying, “Looking like her daddy for sure.”

Genesis Harlo was born on August 1, 2017, to Mia Angel Burks, who alleged that Carmelo Anthony was the father during his marriage to La La Anthony.

While Carmelo has never publicly claimed Genesis as his daughter, he featured her in his retirement video, thus confirming the rumors of infidelity.

Carmelo Anthony officially announced his retirement from the NBA in May 2023, sharing his sentiments through a video.

In the nearly two-minute clip, he bid farewell to the NBA and emphasized that his son, Kiyan Anthony, would carry on his basketball legacy.
