Happy birthday wishes are in order for Megaa Grandberry, the son of Omarion and Apryl Jones.
Recently, the ex-couple came together to celebrate their son’s milestone double digit birthday.
Jones posted a special message on social media, paying homage her son on his special day.
“I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since you came into our lives, I remember it like yesterday… Megaa you’re the most beautiful son two parents could ever ask for. Happy birthday Bub Bub August 7th! (Reminder to follow my @stronghomenetwork page).”
In addition to Megaa, the R&B crooner and actress also shares eight-year-old, A’mei Grandberry.
The former couple dated between 2013 and 2016, giving the world a peek inside of their relationship on the reality series, Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood.
The pair called it quits after A’mei was born in 2016. Yet, they have been managing to find their way through co-parenting.
In a previous interview when asked about their co-parenting relationship, Omarion said, “We’re still in a transformative state. Like I said, I’m the type of person who likes to leave room for some new ideas, some different methods. I’m all for that. But we are in a transformative state right now.”
Their “transformative” state seems to be working for the couple as they are now having combined birthday celebrations for their children and taking vacations together.
Earlier that year, Omarion gave an update on he and Jones’ co-parenting relationship on Sway’s Sway In The Mornings radio show. Omarian said, “I will say we have been moving towards a better relationship at this particular point in time for the kids.”
He continued, “It’s all good; it was just something we went through. I think as long as respect is over-stood and appreciated within the scope of the blended family, then I think you can virtually get through anything.”
