Happy Birthday wishes are in order for Machine Gun Kelly’s daughter, Casie. The 34-year-old celebrated his daughter’s 15th birthday yesterday, sharing wishes and love all over social media.
MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, captioned a carousel of images on Instagram, “The world spins but when i look at you it stops. happy 15th princess.”
The Houston-born, Cleveland-raised rapper was 19-years-old when he welcomed daughter Casie with ex-girlfriend Emma Cannon. On a recent episode of the Bad Friends podcast, MGK told the host that Casie is “my best friend and probably the only person I really care to impress.”
He went on to say that his daughter is, “… very comfortable in her own skin and a very strong independent woman.”
It remains to be seen whether or not Casie will follow in her famous father’s footsteps in Hollywood.
Yet, we do know that she has already dipped her toe into the acting pool as she appeared, alongside her father as his onscreen daughter, Lily, in Andrew Bairds action crime thriller, One Way. One Way additionally starred Kevin Bacon and Drea de Matteo.
In an previous interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show, the “Papercuts” rapper told the daytime talk show host that, he trusts his daughter’s opinion more than his own.
“I trust her opinion more than I trust my own now,” MGK told Clarkson in the interview. “Like, she has her finger on the pulse of what’s hot, or if I’m doing a song and it’s the right one, she’ll confirm it.”
MGK and Casie truly share a special father-daughter bond like no other. From appearing on the red carpet together, to working on screen together, to cooking together on Father’s Day and beyond, it is unquestionably a loving relationship that gives us the feels.
