Coco Gauff is one of the most prolific athletes of today. Finishing last year with the distinction of being named the highest-earning female athlete. In 2024, Gauff has gone on to expand her partnership portfolio, addition additional business to the roster. In a new interview with Forbes senior writer, Jabari Young, Gauff talks about her new partnership with UPS geared towards helping Gen Z entrepreneurs.
According to Forbes, Gauff’s new partnership campaign with UPS, entitled, “Coco vs. The Doubters,” is a promotion to help uplift small businesses. “The promotion spotlights Generation Z entrepreneurs who overcome the difficult odds of operating a profitable business.”
“I realized a lot of (negative) things that are told to small business owners are also told to athletes,” Gauff said in her interview. Her advice for entrepreneurs facing tough odds: “Be Delusional.”
“I think delusional is great,” Gauff said. “All of the greatest athletes and greatest artists have to have a little bit of craziness and delusion. Having a little bit of craziness in your goal is kind of healthy.”
The 20-year-old shared the news of a the new partnership on Instagram via a snippet of the commercial reel, featuring Gauff as an anime character.
“Doubters are everywhere, always telling us we can’t do it. Whether you’re training to be a champion or running a small business, our message to the doubters is: thanks for adding fuel to our fire,” she began her post caption. “Together with @ups , defy those doubters and #BeUnstoppable. #anime”
In terms of the partnerships that the tennis phenom is cultivating for herself, the athlete goes on in the interview to say that she likes to “… partner with things that are an extension of myself.”
To date, in addition to UPS, Gaff has the following partnerships under her belt:

- Bose
- Carol’s Daughter
- Naked smoothies
We unquestionably think that this newest addition to Coco’s portfolio is a win-win for Gauff and fans alike.
