WNBA legend Candace Parker, who recently retired in April 2024, is showing her support for young talent on the court, including seven-year-old Bianka Bryant.
The daughter of late NBA superstar Kobe Bryant, Bianka is already demonstrating impressive skills and athleticism, a testament to her father’s legacy.
In a recent Instagram Stories post, Parker, now a coach and mother of three, shared highlights from Bianka’s training session.
“Look at the wrist loaded under the ball…. On her toes… Basketball in her blood! #MiniMamba Aunty Candace is so proud of you BB and you too COACH @Vanessa Bryant.”
Parker retired from professional basketball play this year, and has embraced a new chapter in her personal life. She and her wife, Anna Petrakova, welcomed their second child together, Hartt Summitt Petrakov Parker, on May 21, 2024.
The couple, now a family of five, introduced the newest addition in an Instagram post with a series of family photos shot by April Belle Photos.
They captioned, “Hartt Summitt Petrakov Parker. May 21, 2024 Our Starting lineup is complete. We are so in love and grateful for our little brother. Zone defense is ummm interesting, but we are managing. Goose is ummm adjusting, but he’s doing better with his role as a vet. (Mama is a rockstar and we love her soooo much) Thank you @aprilbellephotos for always capturing our fam!”
In addition to their new bundle of joy, Parker and Petrakova also share two-year-old son, Airr Larry. Parker is also mother to 14-year-old daughter, Lailaa, with whom she shares with ex-Shelden Williams.
Bianka Bryant is one of four girls that Vanessa Bryant shares with the late Los Angeles Lakers star, Kobe Bryant. Bianka’s sisters include: Natalia Bryant, (21), Capri Kobe Bryant, (4), and Gianna “Gigi” Bryant, who died with her father in a tragic helicopter accident in January of 2020.
