Jay Ellis and his wife, Nina Senicar, have welcomed their second child together.
On Saturday, July 13, the pair took to their respective Instagram pages to announce the birth of their son.
“Noa Gray Ellis 7.11.24,” Ellis captioned a photo showing his and his wife’s hands, along with their daughter’s hands, holding the newborn’s feet.
“Wow, we have a son!,” Senicar exclaimed in her caption, sharing the same image.
The announcement was met with an outpouring of love and congratulations from fellow celebrity friends, including Ellis’ Insecure castmates.
“Aunt Tasha reporting for duty,” Natasha Rothwell commented.
“On 7/11!!!! We love it!” Yvonne Orji added under Senicar’s post.
Co-executive producer Amy Aniobi wrote, “What?!?! Omg I didn’t even know!!!!! Congratulations to you both! ”
writer Dayna Lynne North chimed in, “When do the aunties get to box with yo mama for cuddle time? (I know, I know — she gon win!!!).”
Ellis and Senicar, who married in a stunning ceremony in Tuscany, Italy, in July 2022, have been together for over five years. Their wedding, delayed twice due to the COVID-19 pandemic, was a memorable affair.
Reflecting on their special day, Senicar shared with Vogue in 2022. “I am still processing everything, but I am beyond happy that all of our friends got together to celebrate our love.” She added, “We just really wanted everybody to have a good time and get to know each other. And most importantly, dance.”
“We come from two completely different sides of the world, different cultures, and backgrounds, and it was magical to see how all of that got mixed together in such a beautiful and spontaneous way with the people we love the most,” Senicar added.
Ellis and Senicar are already parents to their 3-year-old daughter, Nora Grace.
