Gabrielle Union and her daughter Kaavia were the matching duo at the premiere of Disney’s “Descendants: The Rise of Red” in Los Angeles on July 10, 2024.
The mother-daughter pair turned heads with their twinning navy blue outfits, stealing the spotlight at the Walt Disney Studios event.
Union wore a chic checkered blue dress by Shushu/Tongs, and completed her stylish look with a blue and green patterned purse, white sneakers, and gold earrings.
Kaavia, Union’s five-year-old daughter with NBA legend Dwyane Wade, looked adorable in a navy blue Self-Portrait crocheted dress.
She paired it with white flats and an ivory purse. Her curly hair was held in a chic ponytail that made her a mini version of her fashionable mom.
“Every day is a once-upon-a-time with her,” Union sweetly captioned an Instagram post about her daughter.
On the red carpet, Gabrielle and Kaavia held hands and posed with fellow star Brandy Norwood, who reprises her role as Cinderella in the film.
The premiere celebrated the latest installment in the beloved Descendants series, “Descendants: The Rise of Red,” which debuts on Disney+ on July 12.
The film, a Disney Channel musical fantasy, stars Brandy, Rita Ora, Kylie Cantrall, Malia Baker, China Anne McClain, Jeremy Swift, Dara Reneé, Ruby Rose Turner, Morgan Dudley, Paolo Montalban, Melanie Paxson, Leonardo Nam, Joshua Colley, and Peder Lindell.

Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade welcomed Kaavia via surrogate in 2017. Wade is also father to son Zaire, 22, daughter Zaya, 17, and son Xavier, 10, from previous relationships. He is also the legal guardian of his nephew, Dahveon Morris, 21.
