Khloe Kardashian is not ruling out the possibility of getting married again. However, the mother-of-two will not let wedded bliss come at the expense of her children.
On a recent episode of The Kardashians, the Good American co-founder opened up to a producer about her decision to not date anyone right now and would definitely be open to doing so in the future.
One of the shows producers pointed out that her family would like her to “get out more” and the 39-year-old responded,”Who knows what other people think? But I’m happy!”
Then she was asked if she thought that she would ever find love again to which she commented that she was “100 percent” sure that she would.
She continued saying that, “I can’t tap out now, I’m not even 40! One day, I will be married again, I love love. I will get my fairytale. I know one day that will happen but I’m just not right there right now… I love sharing my life with me, with my kids. I don’t need anyone. When I’m at the place when I wanna date, I will. And trust me, if I like the person, I’ll publicize it!”
Later in the episode, Kardashian is talking to her best friend, Malika Haqq, admitting that her past relationship with Tristan Thompson has a lot to do with her current dating choices.
“It’s a scary world out there, there’s phones everywhere,” the Hulu reality star said. “I definitely think what I’ve been through is a factor why I’m not just like, ‘Let’s just start dating again!'”
“I don’t want to f— up my kids. So much has already transpired that could potentially f— them up that I don’t want to add to that by bringing somebody new to mix ’cause so far, people have been very disappointing,” she concluded. “I’m just not gonna open myself up the same way that I once did, but I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that. I also think that’s what growing up is, you learn to protect yourself.”
Kardashian shares six-year-old daughter True and 23-month-old son Tatum with Thompson.
