Major congratulations are in order for up-and-coming actors, Percy Daggs IV and Anthony B. Jenkins as they both will star alongside Oscar-winning actress, Halle Berry, in the new Lionsgate and 21 Laps thriller, Never Let Go.

According to Deadline.com, the film follows a mother (Berry) and her fraternal twin sons (Daggs and Jenkins) who have been tormented by an evil spirit for years and are convinced to never let go of their family’s protective bond. But when one of the boys questions if the evil is real, their connection is severed, triggering a terrifying fight for survival.
Per the outlet, Alexandre Aja (Crawl) is directing from a script by Kevin Coughlin & Ryan Grassby. The film will be produced by 21 Laps’ Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen and Dan Levine. Exec producers are Berry, Holly Jeter and 21 Laps’ Emily Morris. Chelsea Kujawa and Scott O’Brien are overseeing the project for Lionsgate.
When speaking at CinemaCon, about the project, the mother-of-two said that she tapped into her maternal instincts for this particular role. “This movie reminds me how I would protect my children in this life. We often say I would take a bullet for my kids. Would you take a knife for your kids? What would you do to protect your children?”
If both boys’ faces look familiar, they should. So far, they have an incredible resume of credits.
You can see Daggs‘ in is most recently role, Pity, on seen on Apple TV+‘s limited series The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey alongside Samuel L. Jackson. Daggs can be also seen in the series Solos and Undone, which is currently streaming on Prime Video.
Jenkins can currently be seen starring in the Netflix’s hit, Florida Man. You may also remember this talented young man NBC’s Chicago Med, The CW’s Roswell, New Mexico, or from his guest starring role on the ABC reboot of The Wonder Years.
You will also be able to see Jenkins again when he hits the small screen starring opposite Andra Day, Glenn Close, Mo’Nique, Caleb McLaughlin, Aunjanue Ellis and Demi Singleton in a Lee Daniels-directed horror/thriller, entitled, The Deliverance. The Deliverance is expected to debut on Netflix this sometime year.
Never Let Go will hit theaters on September 27.
