Gervonta “Tank” Davis and Vanessa Posso are expecting their second child together.
Posso took to Instagram on Father’s Day to announce the news, giving fans a glimpse into her pregnancy with behind-the-scenes footage from a recent maternity shoot.
“Life lately,” she simply captioned the video.
In the clip, the mom-to-be could be seen wearing a series stunning maternity outfits, showcasing her growing baby bump. Though she didn’t tag Gervonta or mention him directly in her caption, she did hint at him being the father in her Insta Stories.
She posted an adorable picture with their daughter Giovanna, writing, “Baby G 2.0,” signaling the upcoming arrival of their second child.
Gervonta, meanwhile, hasn’t commented publicly on the baby news. The boxing champ is riding high after his recent victory in the ring. On Saturday, Gervonta secured his status as one of boxing’s elite fighters by knocking Frank Martin out in the eighth round. The fight marked his return to the ring after a 14-month break, his longest hiatus yet.
Gervonta is already a proud dad of two kids. He welcomed his first child, Gervanni Davis, in June 2018 with his former girlfriend, Andretta Smothers.
In October 2021, Davis and Vanessa Posso welcomed their first daughter together, Giovanna Thalia. Despite their public ups and downs, including Vanessa’s retracted accusations of domestic abuse against Gervonta last year, the couple appears to have rekindled their relationship.
Reflecting on the transformative power of parenthood, Vanessa shared a poignant quote on her Instagram stories today:
“No one talks about how having children literally changes your perspective on everything. You have no desire to impress people or fit in. Negative things people think or say don’t matter anymore. The little family that you created, is the best team you could ever have.”
