Singer Keisha Epps recently penned the sweetest birthday message to her daughter, K’mari. K’mari is no longer a little girl as she has just turned 20!
The 53-year-old started her caption of a carousel of images on Instagram, “Happy birthday to the most thoughtful, beautiful, kind, smart and sweet 20 year old. I know I am filled with so much love, joy & happiness that I am at a loss for words, K’mari.”
“My constant prayer is God’s love through you, in you & surrounding you. It has been nothing short of favor watching you grow and experiencing the endless smiles because of you. Continue to stand firm in your journey as you navigate. Continue to let your light shine- it is so very bright. You are such a LOVE my goodness.”
Epps concluded, “Your love & care for your family, your support & love for your friends is truly honorable and admirable. And to witness you harness the strength from the most high is more than pleasing my Nīna. EnJOY✨the entirety of it all. LIVE! You make life a wonderful wonderful place. Thank you God for all of this love that comes in the form(my first form) of a human. You make me better K’mari Mae. Happy blessed 20th birthday my love!! If you are wondering just what the future holds for this talented young woman, well, for now, she is simply following her mother’s footsteps, and killing it! This past Mother’s Day, the 20-year-old hit the stage with Epps, proving that, she definitely gets it from her mama!
Epps posted a reel of K’mari in action. And, she definitely nailed it alongside the singer and the other dancers. “… K’mari Mae Epps, you know WHO you are and WHO’S you are my angel. You already light up the world. Continue to do & protect your energy. We named you with purpose-SHINE baby. It’s in your aura,” the “If You Want Me singer wrote in the midst of a lengthy caption.
In addition to K’mari, Epps also shares 17-year-old Amir Epps with actor, rapper, and producer, Omar Epps. Omar Epps is also father to an older daughter, Aiyanna, from a previous relationship.
