In one clip, the pair are seen enjoying a day at the beach, with Jeannie playfully testing Monaco’s knowledge of their surroundings.

“What’s this called?” the America’s Test Kitchen host asks in Vietnamese, pointing to the water and sand.

To which Monaco responds confidently in both English and Vietnamese.

In other posts, Monaco is seen indulging in a variety of Filipino delicacies. Jeannie couldn’t help but gush about her daughter’s culinary escapades, writing, “It’s offish. Coco loves pansit, sisig, bangus, chicken binakol, dinuguan, and duh halo halo.”

“Our summer’s just gettin started hunnay,” Jeannie added.

Last year, the former The Real co-host, 45, shared on The Jennifer Hudson Show her commitment to teaching Monaco about her rich cultural heritage.

“I love her so much, she’s so opinionated. And I think the best thing is learning how to really teach her how to own who she is,” Jenkins said. “She’s a beautiful blend of being Black and Vietnamese and I want her to really understand what that means as a powerful woman today.”

Jeannie also revealed the efforts she and Jeezy make to ensure Monaco stays connected to both sides of her family.

“We try to have her spend time with her Southern grandparents in Atlanta, in Georgia, and then she goes down to the Bay and she spends time with my Vietnamese grandparents all the time. So she understands both sides and I only speak Vietnamese to her. And then dad only speaks the South to her,” she joked.

Despite her ongoing divorce and custody battle with estranged husband Jeezy, Jeannie remains steadfast in her commitment to creating a vibrant life for Monaco.

“I think the fact that I surround myself with so many things that I love to do. whether it’s working out, finding new play dates and things that Monaco likes to do like ballet or scootering…I’ve been researching how I can get more music into her life. And also cooking. Cooking has really been my big thing. There is no room for feeling lost in your life when you fill it with things that you love for you, she tells People.
