Kimora Lee Simmons’ towering teen, Kenzo Lee Hounsou, just turned 15 years old, and she couldn’t be prouder!
On Thursday, the 49-year-old entrepreneur and former model posted a series of photos and videos on Instagram, showcasing her son throughout the years. The snapshots captured Kenzo posing with various family members, and one video even highlighted his basketball skills as he practiced his dunks.
“Happy 15th birthday to my 6’7 baby @kenzoklh !! You’re such an amazing person! So kind, sweet, humble, handsome and smart! Keep up the great work! I’m so proud of you and I love you so much!”
Simmons never fails to remind us exactly how tall her teenage son is.
On Wednesday, she shared the same dunking video on her Instagram Stories, writing, “My big ole @kenxoklh is 6’7, 14 yrs old! He was dunking at 13. Now he’s windmilling! Wow! I’m so proud of you my boy! Keep it up!”
In May, Kimora Simmons talked to PEOPLE about the ups and downs of single parenting. “I’m a single mom of five kids, and I know how hard it can be,” she said. “I don’t want to start crying, but on Mother’s Day, I know what it feels like to raise your kids and to get up every day only caring about them.”
The mogul, who shares Kenzo with ex Djimon Hounsou, is also mom to daughters Aoki Lee, 21, and Ming Lee, 24, with ex Russell Simmons; son Wolfe, 9, with estranged husband Tim Leissner, and adoptive son Gary,14.
She added, “And it doesn’t matter, if you’re rich and famous or you’re this thing or this singer, that singer, at the end of the day, you’re a mom or you’re a cousin, you’re an auntie, you’re a family member, you’re a community person, a caregiver, you’re just there trying to make everything come together.”
