Naturi Naughton and her husband, Two Lewis, celebrated their son Tru Xavier Naughton-Lewis’ first birthday on Monday. The proud parents threw a Mickey-Mouse-themed party for their son and invited a small group of friends and family to celebrate with them.
Tru’s first birthday party was an outdoor celebration at the couple’s Brooklyn property. For the occasion, the birthday boy stepped out in an adorable Mickey-Mouse-themed outfit featuring the iconic black shirt and red shorts combo. His big sister, Zuri, was right by his side, wearing a cute pink dress. In classic big sister fashion, she gladly helped blow out his birthday candle.
An ecstatic Naturi took to Instagram to gush about the birthday boy. “OMG, We have a 1 year old! #HAPPY1stBdayTru. Mommy loves you & I am sooo grateful for you! Remember, To thine own self be #Tru & keep God First and life’s doors will open for you!”
And Proud Papa Two happily showed off his happy little one-year-old on Instagram with two posts.
In the first, he shared a candid moment of Tru in motion, captioning it, “Happy 1st Birthday @trunaughtonlewis. We are going to keep it in motion, just like this photo.”
In his second post, Two reflected on the past year, saying, “Wow, I can’t believe I have a whole son! He’s a year old! Where has the time gone?!?! Wow, just Wow. Happy birthday to my little champ! You’ve filled our lives with joy and made us proud. Keep shining, my strong and fearless one! I can’t wait to see what this year brings and watch you blossom even further.”
He added, “I know you will be kind, good, brave, handsome, and clever. Your family will always love you the most, and I will always love you with all my heart. I promise to Lead you with honor and dignity through God’s Vision.”
Tru Xavier Naughton-Lewis, born on May 27, arrived 13 months after Naturi and Two tied the knot in April 2022. Naturi met her husband in 2019 after her “Power” co-star, Omari Hardwick, introduced the two. Little Tru is Naturi’s second child and Two Lewis’s first.
