John Legend had an unexpected guest interviewer during The Voice’s season finale – none other than his own daughter, Luna!
As she walked the red carpet with her dad and little brother Miles, Luna was handed the mic by Entertainment Tonight , and she didn’t hesitate to dive into the role of interviewer.
With the poise of a seasoned journalist, the 8-year-old posed her burning questions to her Grammy-winning father.
“Why do you think that Team Legend is gonna win?” she asked.
“Because we have some amazing singers and your favorite performance when you guys came last time was Nathan and he is going to be performing today and it’s going to be even better than the last time,” Legend responded.
Luna then went on to ask, “How are you celebrating after the finale? Is there a party at your house?”
“We’re gonna celebrate here at the studio with all of the producers and everybody and the crew that made the show happen,” her dad replied. “We’re gonna bring lots of my wine, LVE, we’re bringing donuts, and we’re gonna have a nice celebration here.”
Following her questions, Luna said she liked being an interviewer. But when asked if she’d like a full-time job at ET, Luna was pretty straightforward: “Nope.”
Luna may want to pursue her other interests if she decides not to become a journalist. Her mother, Chrissy Teigen, revealed earlier this month how her oldest daughter assisted her in preparing for her cover photo shoot for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
“Luna was actually using the leaf blower on my hair,” Teigen told Extra, adding that Luna “loves seeing all this stuff ever since she was little.” Teigen continued, “She loved watching me in glam, getting hair and makeup done. She puts on my shoes, everything… She was clicking the little clicker for our video takes, and John was going through photos.”
