Beyoncé’s mom, Tina Knowles, is spilling the tea on her grandkids, Rumi and Sir Carter.
While attending Kentucky Derby over the weekend, Knowles spoke with E! News and raved about Beyonce and Jay’z’s talented twins.
“Rumi is amazing — an amazing artist, painter and creator,” Knowles told the publication “How could they be anything else growing up in that environment? All we talk about is creativity and fashion.”
Meanwhile, Sir might be a bit more low-key than his sisters Rumi and Blue Ivy, 12, but according to Tina, he’s “very, very smart.”
“Sir is very quiet,” she shared noting that he “does all of the numbers stuff, so he’s not into fashion as much.”
Last month, Rumi made headlines by breaking a musical record previously held by her big sister, Blue Ivy. At just six years old, Rumi became the youngest woman to chart on the Billboard Hot 100 for her feature on Beyoncé’s track “Protector” from her latest album, Cowboy Carter. In the song, Rumi’s sweet voice can be heard asking, “Mom, can I hear the lullaby, please?” before the singer begins the first verse.
And let’s not forget about big sister Blue Ivy, who’s been making waves in the music industry since she was just a kid herself. Knowles previously spoke about Blue’s talents.
The proud grandmother applauded Blue Ivy’s many talents in an Instagram post.
“Blue IV Carter never ceases to amaze me,” she wrote. “She can draw, she can paint, she can do makeup, she can play the piano, and the list goes on! She reminds me so much of my multi-talented younger babygirl! @solangeknowles who could do well just about anything she put her mind to! But I love her makeup it is so amazing!!!”
Looks like the Carter legacy is in good hands with these three incredible siblings leading the way!
