Storm Reid turned heads at the 2024 Met Gala, stunned in a custom Coach ensemble designed by Stuart Vevers. The 20-year-old actress, known for her roles in “The Last Of Us” and “Euphoria,” completed her fairytale look with a coach bag and a red apple trinket.
Handcrafted with care in Coach’s New York City workshop, Reid’s ensemble embodied Vevers’ modern take on American heritage, perfectly capturing the gala’s theme, “Garden in Time.” Combining elements of past and present fashion, the outfit featured floral motifs and recycled materials, juxtaposing American romance with youthful edge.
Vevers, the creative mind behind Coach New York, joined Reid at the gala, showcasing their collaboration for the highly anticipated event. Reid took to social media to thank Vevers and Coach for the unforgettable experience.
“No one i’d rather spend the first MONDAY in May with…thank you @stuartvevers & @coach ,” Storm wrote.
In an interview with W Magazine, Storm Reid revealed her style inspirations, citing Zendaya, Rihanna, and Beyoncé as icons. She praised Euphoria co-star, Zendaya, for her “effortless” yet confident fashion choices, both on and off the red carpet.
“Her street style and the things that she wears on the carpet, are so effortless and carefree. Obviously she cares about what she’s wearing, but she just has a confidence that exudes wherever she is,” she said.
Despite her busy schedule as a college student and actress, Reid remains focused on maintaining harmony in her life.
In a recent interview, she shared, “Being a full-time student and also balancing a career is hectic. But I feel so grateful to be able to balance those because not a lot of people get to do the things that I’m doing. I just want to take it one day at a time, because we all know — everyone who’s in here — college is hard.”
