Draya Michele is 9 months pregnant and awaiting to give birth to her baby girl. Over the weekend, the expectant mother made an appearance at a friend’s baby shower, showcasing her baby bump in a chic green Coucoo dress.
“I am just a 9 monther outside risking it all”, she joked in her Instastories.
While Draya is eagerly anticipating the arrival of her third child, recent reports have stirred up some buzz about the father-to-be, Houston Rockets player Jalen Green. It turns out that Jalen recently became a father to a baby girl named Peace Moira, born on Feb. 12, with 23-year-old California student Myah Iakopo.
According to TMZ, Green and Iakopo have a history, but were never in a serious relationship. The publication reports that Green provides financially for his newborn daughter. Moreover, Iakopo seems unfazed by Jalen’s personal life beyond co-parenting duties.
In a recent interview, the NBA star expressed his excitement about his expanding family, citing them as his main motivation both on and off the court. ‘My family,” he emphasized, “[and] my baby.”
Draya first announced her pregnancy back in March, sharing a message on International Women’s Day. In her post, she celebrated the power of motherhood and expressed her excitement about welcoming her baby girl into the world alongside Jalen.
She wrote, “Happy #InternationalWomensDay! As women, we navigate through so much, often leading us to question, “What is my purpose?” For me, the magic lies in motherhood and the awe-inspiring ability to bring life into this world over the span of two decades. It’s my superpower. And if anything can surpass the wonder of being a woman, it’s the privilege of bringing another woman into existence.”
“We are overjoyed to share our love for you, little girl,” she continued. “I’m am excited to speak words to the daughter I never thought I’d have. We are anxious about your arrival, but take your time — this world can be tough.”
Draya and Jalen, who have a 17-year age gap (Michele is 39 while Green is 22), have been romantically linked since August 2022.
