Tamron Hall is celebrating her son Moses 5th birthday today.
Taking to Instagram, she wrote, “Happy Birthday to the boy who stole my heart. Moses is officially 5 today and I am officially looking for anyone who knows how to slow down time.”
In the days leading up to Moses’ birthday, Tamron couldn’t help but share her sentiments about the passage of time. “How did it go so fast??!? Countdown to birthday number 5. At least he still lets me cuddle, for now. Spring Break fun.”
The journey to motherhood for Tamron was not without its challenges. At the age of 48, she and her music exec husband, Steven Greener, welcomed son Moses in 2019.
Following the birth of Moses, Tamron Hall opened up about the journey she and her husband underwent with in vitro fertilization to welcome their only child into the world.
In an interview with Allure magazine, the Talk show host spoke candidly about the difficulties of IVF treatments, describing the physical and emotional toll they took on her.
“When I was traveling, I was afraid to give myself the injections. It was very painful and I couldn’t work up the nerve… It’s brutal,” she recalled. “I’m fortunate to be able to have this procedure and access but the pain is real. You don’t want to be ungrateful, you don’t want to minimize what chance you have right now that someone else would beg for. Even though I was grateful and this was an opportunity I had, it still hurt. I’m still bleeding.”
Motherhood arrived during a period of transition in Tamron’s life, following her departure from the Today show. Amidst the uncertainty, she found love and embraced the journey of parenthood with courage.
“We took a leap of faith and decided to pursue love and parenthood,” she told Women’s Health in 2023.
Adding, “I’m glad I’ve refused limitations others placed on me. I see my choices as perfect for me, and I’m grateful for every one of them.”
