Nicki Minaj, husband Kenneth Petty, and ther son “Papa Bear” are gearing up to embark on the European leg of Minaj’s “Pink Friday 2” world tour.
Earlier today, Kenneth got approval to join Minaj on tour through countries including Canada, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Austria, Ireland, Switzerland, and Romania.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Petty initially requested permission to travel abroad to provide childcare for their son during Minaj’s performances across Europe.
Currently on serving 3 years probation for failing to wp-signup.php as a sex offender in California, Petty assured the court he’d be back in the U.S. by July 14, 2024, right after the tour wraps.
Meanwhile, Minaj has ben spending quality time with her boys, sharing precious family photos on Instagram. “Go PAPA!!!!! Mommy & Daddy loveeeee youuuuuuuuuuuu,” she wrote alongside the collection of snapshots.
Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Petty welcomed their baby boy on Sept. 30, 2020 during the middle of the pandemic. The couple took on parenthood without hired help, leaning on family support instead.
In an interview with Vogue, Minaj opened up about the challenges of balancing parenthood with her career at that time.
“I’m not going to lie, things got testy between us,” she recalls. “Because of our history, I think we knew we’d get past it. But there’s no such thing as confidence in parenthood. I kind of wish that someone had told me—although I’m sure I wouldn’t have been able to understand it—that there’s a level of anxiety, and you think it’s going to go away, but in fact it gets scarier. So often you think: I don’t know how to do this!”
