Tim Anderson and his wife Bria Anderson recently welcomed their third child-a baby boy!
Fans caught a glimpse of Bria and kids, including the newest addition, cheering Tim on from the stands during the home opener for the Miami Marlins on March 28th.
In an Instagram Live session, Bria shared the news with her followers, saying, “Yes, guys. We had the baby. Like a week ago.”
The Andersons, who tied the knot in 2017, are already proud parents to two daughters, Peyton and Paxton. However, their family dynamic underwent a publicized shift last year when it was revealed that Tim had fathered a child outside of his marriage with a woman named Dejah Lanee.
Tim took to Instagram to confirm the news of his son’s birth, albeit without disclosing much. “Everybody ain’t gotta know everything. Nobody ain’t gotta know s#$@, really.”
He later opened up about his extramarital affair on “The Pivot Podcast” and spoke candidly about the efforts he and his wife made to reconcile.
“It was a lot of work behind the scenes,” Tim shared. “We went to therapy, just digging into what was it, what caused me to go into these spaces or even that space to even create that. It’s a tough conversation. It’s a tough situation. I feel like we did a lot of work as far as understanding it and showing my love to my wife and to my kids.”
Amidst the personal challenges, Tim’s professional career has seen a significant development. In February 2024, he finalized a $5 million, one-year contract with the Miami Marlins, marking a new chapter in his baseball journey.
Despite his achievements on the field, Tim emphasizes that his true happiness lies in moments spent with his children. In a recent interview with MLB, he expressed:
“Normally when I’m with my kids. I’m excited. I’m happy. Nothing else matters. No baseball matters. No nothing. It’s just strictly the kids, enjoying the moment, soaking up the moment and learning about them as they learn about dad. So that’s probably when I’m at my happiest.”
