DDG, Halle Bailey, and their son Halo are on an island getaway in honor of Halle’s 24th birthday on March 27th, 2024. Opting for a low-key celebration, the trio boarded a private jet, escaping the hustle and bustle to revel in some precious family time.
Taking to Youtube on Tuesday, DDG shared a Vlog documenting their escapade. In a video titled “Our First Family Trip”, the rapper marveled at his baby boy traveling at such a young age.
“I didn’t get on the plane till I was 16. 90 days years old fresh out the country…yeah boy doing it early.”
For Halle and DDG, every moment with their little one is a cherished memory, and recently, they had an unforgettable milestone to celebrate. In a heart-melting YouTube video shared on Monday (March 25), DDG captured the magical moment when Halo uttered his first word.
In the footage, DDG can be heard gently coaxing, “dada,” prompting little Halo to mimic the word. Upon hearing their newborn son say “Dada” for the first time, the new parents screamed for joy.
Halle and DDG welcomed their son last year. In January, Halle announced the birth of her little boy on Instagram, sharing a photo featuring her manicured hand clasping the tiny hand of Halo.
“Even though we’re a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son.. welcome to the world my halo. The world is desperate to know you♥️,” she captioned the photo.
DDG echoed her sentiments, expressing his overwhelming love for his newborn child.
“My biggest blessing by far son son.. never been so in love baby halo,” he shared on Instagram.
So far, the world has seen tiny glimpses of baby Halo as his parents have chosen not to show his face.
“The internet is a cruel place. Everybody is just talking about everybody..it’s fine that you do that to me but you won’t do that to my baby,” Halle said in a recent snapchat.
