Joie Chavis and NFL star Trevon Diggs have a baby girl on the way! Earlier today, Chavis shared the news on her instagram page by posting a photo of herself standing beside a gender reveal cake.
On top of the sweet treat were the words “Baby is a…” , with the pink inside signaling the gender of their upcoming addition.
The gender announcement comes after Chavis disclosed that she is pregnant with her third child in an Instagram post on March 14th.
In a video, the entrepreneur surprised her fans by debuting her burgeoning baby bump. The mom of two simply captioned her post with three black hearts.
While Chavis has not confirmed the identity of her baby’s father, speculation points to Trevon Diggs, with whom Chavis has been romantically linked since 2022.
Despite her successes, Chavis has faced public scrutiny, with some accusing her of seeking financial security through her relationships. However, she has addressed these misconceptions before, denying claims of being a “gold digger” and emphasizing her independence and work ethic.
“[Some people say], ‘Oh, she’s a gold digger,’ or, ‘She’s just having these babies to secure a bag,’” Chavis previously said in a Youtube video. “I always have worked since I was 15 years old. I don’t know what it’s like to just not do anything.”
“So, I think that’s the biggest misconception, and it doesn’t bother me at all. The people that know me know, obviously, I’m so much more than that. I show that with my actions. I don’t have to scream it out. I show that with my actions and how hard I work,” she concluded.
Joie is already a mother to two children: twelve-year-old Shai Moss from her previous relationship with rapper Bow Wow, and five-year-old Hendrix Wilburn with hip-hop artist Future.
